At the end of January 4 prizes of £5 or $10 will be awarded off goods purchased in our Salesrooms in the following categories.
1)Most active member of Creative Cafe
2)Friendliest member of Creative Cafe
3)Funniest member of Creative Cafe
4) Most Provocative member of Creative Cafe

I am not allowed to win any prizes otherwise I would have to nominate myself! Please have your say on who should win these coveted prizes! This is a lighthearted competition before we are donated some serious valuable prizes by a rich benefactor.
If anyone would like to take on the role of rich benefactor to Creative Cafe we are a very deserving cause!

Not sure if my nomination for Lesley came across as that. Obviously, Jill is the most active member and if she wasn't the prize giver she would get the prize but Lesley is not only really active but posts mega interesting stuff.

I also wanna nominate Azzi for the funniest member. He doesn't post very often but when he does it is sharp and witty as.

I wanna mention Tina, Alison and Rebecca too. Cos they are lovely. Actually have had lovely comments from other members so don't want anyone feeling excluded.

Promise not to nominate again. Someone tie my hands behind my back, pleeeeze!!!!

Well I am nominating Leslie and Mandy as both the most friendly and active members.

I am also nominating Bright Spenser as the most provocative this month for starting the idea of having a theme song and that has sparked up loads of discussion in the group. I am not sure if we are any nearer to making our Cafe theme song now as we were when we started but it has certainly provoked us to a lot of thought on the subject!

As far as funniest member is concerned I am not at all sure Azzi qualifies because he will only make me buy something in the Salesrooms for him so he can get the £5 prize off. Then he will keep the discount but won't pay me for whatever it is he buys! So on that basis I think he should be disqualified! Apart from that Phil Lancaster has a funny joke on his page that I copied a while ago and Richard Burton is always having a droll sense of humour in his comments. At least that is my impression. But I think I will nominate Margaret Hamilton of Slackstiches for her posts on bureacracy over labels, the theme song censorship and other issues which she tackles with a good dry humour.
