Party Planning. Our Six Months Open week soon. How shall we celebrate?

It is now week 22 on Creative Cafe so in week 26 we will have being open six months to celebrate.

How shall we mark the occasion?

Do you fancy a new competition? Or do you want to virtually dance the night away?

I think a new competition would be fun. We have so many new members it would be nice to see what they came up with. Also, it might get some of us slackers off our laurels and contributing!

I do like putting up competitions but am not sure if members will be persuaded to enter! Leslie and Mandy are our expert competition winners at the moment.

But really, how involved will the rest of us be? Perhaps we can submit competition ideas and vote on the one we all like.

Id def say a virtual party/dance of some sort.....on the MS forum when we celebrate something we have virtual events...when I got married In Nov lots of them sent me messages on the forum and put their 'wedding hats' on and had a drink for me at the time I was getting married.

And we 'open the bar' on a Fri night and everyone says what drink they want, crisps nuts etc and has a chat that way through a thread that someone starts....and that way a lot of us make the effort to be online at a certain time and can all communicate with each other and party on and dance the night away together!!!! Andreally, its fun!!
Or.....what about a virtual game....
I went to the shop and bought a ....something beginning with A, b, C....right through to Z and you have to remember the persons in front too.....etc etc etc!!

Or start a thread of a story which we 'make up as we go along' with each new post...they are quite amusing when you read through them lol...

Will try and think of a few more exciting ones too!!

Hi Julia

Thanks Julia. Some really good ideas. I would like to encourage members meeting up on a Cafe drinks and Chat evening each week. That would be great, although may be a bit tricky for international time zones to decide when! And virtual games would be good as well. I see you have started the one line of a story one and that seems fun already!
