Let your imagination run free

many people suggest to recycle the wastes but i always try to convert those waste products into useful one.I made a flower pot using the ice cream sticks and made a small robot using matchboxes. Now i am trying to make something using the matchsticks.
do you have any idea? what do you do with wastes?

that is such a good idea! i love making art from recycled goods. i take jars and hand paint them to reuse, if i don't have glass paints, i'll glue a piece of water color paper around the jar and paint that. i also shellack old shoeboxes and paint and decorate to create cute storage boxes. my friend recommended making a dart board from old corks. you can make flower pots out of so many things. matchsticks....hmm.... used ones i assume? you could make a flower pot if you have enough of them, the burnt ends might provide some fertilizer inadvertantly. you could make small, shallow dishes and dip the matches in paint beforehand. you could make picture frames. you could make a hanging mobile by gluing them in a spiral pattern. hmmm...

Fantastic and some great ideas here, I always recycle my shoe boxes and boxes and my other half is great with putting things to get use rather than throwing it out. My dad actually made the most fantastic windmill out of matchsticks - it took him a long time but even now 30 years later he still has it and its such a great piece of artwork.
