Remember when I used to put comments round all the members pages every week and did the headlines in wonky letters like this? I remember I used to spend ages trying to make words fit neatly on the pages and whatever I did they would always overlap!
Thanks for your good wishes. I think the time is going much faster now we are in the warmer weather. The winter always seems to go by slowly to me! I don't feel Creative Cafe is hard work but it can take up a lot of time sometimes. Keeps me from getting the housework up to date. Good excuse huh!
Hello Jill, and Everyone! Congratulations for a wonderful creative and social network. My life has definitely been lifted and inspired by the 'caff'! The cafe is doing so well, I can't keep up with all the new members now! And to anyone who I've made friend requests to who haven't replied yet, let's be friends! It makes the world seem that bit smaller and accessible. I love seeing what other people are doing with their creativity. Also, the bigger our friend base, the greater our voice becomes. Hats off to Jill and all those who have made the Creative Cafe such a special place to visit! All the best, Leslie
Yep, that's me in my top hat (not really). But, it's a tribute to one of my fav oldie movies with Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, called 'Top Hat'. I super-imposed my head onto a movie poster pic off the web. I love those two and all that wonderful tap dancing! All the best, Leslie
As a child I did some tap dancing and when we took exams the certificates had the signature of Fred Astaire printed on them! You look wonderful in your outfit and you must be nifty with the photo techniques to do the super-imposed part. And here are your dancers:
Congratulations Creative Cafe and all it's members your 6 month anniversary!!!
As Project Manager for the Creative Cafe Salesroom, I would like to express my sincerest apology for the delay. A quick word of advice -- if you ever get a computer virus, make sure that after your conputer is fixed, that you make sure your back-up does not contain the virus!!
Anyway, this is celebration and in the United States many stores celebrate a "Christmas in July" sale to get a jump on the Christmas rat race. August and September focus on the upcoming Fall season and the Back To School race. October through December focuses on the Christmas Season. Since these next six months will include the Christmas season, let's get creative and make our one-year anniversary a sectacular one!!
