Let your imagination run free

Sometime like when we were having Mandys birthday party yesterday I just like finding good music tracks I like on You Tube and listening to some sounds old and new. And I notice we sometimes are less active on the music front than we are with other things like photos and blogs on Creative Cafe. So I thought it would be nice to have this discussion just to put up music vids we like and maybe even a bit of a description about when and where we were and why we came to like that track.

Will leave this open for members to decide which way this thread will go!

have you heard this one

Yes, Louise,

Green Onions. I confess to going through more music phases than I have had hot dinners. Thankfully, all of them have left me with some great memories and tunes that have a special place in me.

I hope you don't mind me playing another soul track that reminds me of a club I used to go to. Great place for dancing it was.

And there was a sort of reggae track around at t'same time, I can't remember it well enough but this is similar...

I think that was a Number 1 hit. I am trying to remember the tune you are trying to remember, but I can't. DOH! Will keep thinking on it.

This is my fav Bob Marley track, although I am spoilt for choice. Love the bloke's music.

As with Jimi, Beatles, Stones,Woodie, Dylan etc which ever one I'm hearing is my favoutite!
One I could gladly have as me desert Island is;
An' I know what you're going thro' thinking of whatever it was!
It was originally a 'warm-up' thing that audiences got to like...

Hi

I remember that 'Band of Gold' one because when I was 16 I lived in a place called Lyneham where they have an RAF camp and we would go up to the socalled 'nightclub' they had on the camp on a weekend and that record was played a lot. And when I say a lot I mean A Lot!

Bye for Now
Jill

What about this one?
This suffered by being badly covered by too many crappier 'artistes'
