Creative Cafe

Let your imagination run free

Well this first discussion can be for us to introduce ourselves again to each other. Please promote your Art and Handmade Crafts for Sale as much as you like and put up links to your sites.

Personally I am a buyer rather than a seller so I am always on the look out for cards and gifts for the many birthdays presents that are needed through the year as well as treats I can't resist!

So far from Creative Cafe members I have bought all kinds of lovely things and they have all been top quality and beautifully packaged. I will be showing off some of the lovely things I have purchased from our talented members in another discussion later.

In the meantime I'm looking forward to hearing from you all!

your painting are fantastic! wow am I glad I stopped by your website. I love the vibrant colors and the scenery you choose to paint.
Are your watercolors transparent or opaque? I have never learned how to make transparent watercolor anything but washed out looking. More art classes, perhaps?

Anyway - love your work.

Thanks for setting this group up Jill

Haven't made cards for about a month so am only just getting back in swing of things.

Not doing it as a business venture though. More as a way of making pin money.

Will put some piccies of cards up here when have a collection together.

Hi everyone:

I am Rebecca of Basillawerks - custom jewelry. I have been on a bit of hiatus lately but still am active in my jewelry. I have to make time out of my full life to get more active here again.

I like to use sterling silver in most of my jewelry but will also use 14 kt gf and copper. Actually I love the way copper looks when antiqued so am beginning to make more pieces with it. Here is a link to my website:

Hope you stop by and drop a comment if you like what you see!

Good luck to us with this new format - should be a positive experience.

Hi everyone,

I have an Etsy shop and have loved it there, but am looking for other outlets as well.

I have just posted my first Captured Firefly in a vial neckclace on a ball chain. It was a lot of work designing little firefly, but I enjoyed the process. There don't seem to be any fireflies out there, so I am hoping this one catches on. I have others to list, so will be at a later date.

Hallo everyone

Sorry for not joining in with this group sooner. I think that is because I haven't got a specific website set up for my card making yet. Bit of work in the pending file, rather than in progress.

Could really do with someone who is savvy on websites to help me out.

My name is Mandy and I am based in Bedfordshire, UK. I make cards. Still in the early stages of working out how best to promote my work and get it seen by as many people as possible and hoping to do some card and craft fairs in the summer, when I have purchased a proper card stand. Lots to do really.

Here's a slide of some of my creations
