Let your imagination run free

There is a paypal widget which allows you to display pictures of your work for sale and buyers can then go straight to a paypal form to order.
These seem quite an easy way of marketing your products to me but I would like to hear what the other group members think?
An example if you have one would be wonderful!

Thanks a lot for putting that up Lizzy.

Hi Gayle

Just thought I'd better say that our sellers don't have to have disabilities. We don't discriminate!

Apart from that I just thought the widget cuts out some of the form filling which is needed for registration on the Salesrooms and which I think puts buyers off. Plus you can put it up anywhere and do not need a seperate site.

Thanks for putting this out for us to see. I shall have to have a look at it. Brilliant idea if it works.

Hi Jill
I have tried to get onto the Paypal site where I got the widget from a couple of times but haven't been able to, I will keep trying!

Hi Gayle

The clipboard is just where Windows copies stuff to when you copy I think. I have never actually seen my clipboard! But you should be able to just copy and then paste the code for the widget where you want it I think. For example you can paste it on the discussions on this group and/or on your Creative Cafe page and/or even in blogs I should think. Try copying and then pasteimng in the code somewhere and see if it works Ok. Let me know how you get on. It is getting on for 3am here and I am off to bed at last but will check in again tomorrow.

Hi Gayle

I just made the sample one above and when you get to the publish your storefront page you click on the option which says
"Just give me the html so I can do it myself"
Then you click on Publish Storefront and it has already copied the code for you so then you can just paste it in like I have done above.
At least that is what I just did and it worked!
I am not sure about the part about loading up your items for sale because I don't have any items for sale myself so just did a sample one.

Let me know if this helps at all?

I just tried pasting in a Buy Now button I made for my blog, and it's not showing up here at all. It works fine on my blog! Help?

It looks like it's just taking that code out. I don't know what to do. :/

Hi Kate

I can ask the Ning Help if you want. Can you send me the code by email or at least details where/how you made the button? And where have you tried to paste it?

Bye for Now
