Welcome to our Creative Cafe Salesrooms Group

This group is for our Creative Cafe members who want to buy and sell their Art and Handmade Crafts
Opening in January 2009 it will initially run alongside our Creative Cafe Salesrooms site which we are planning on closing in March 2009. The Salesrooms get traffic but it is hard to persuade new customers to stop and complete the registration before they can become buyers.
We are hoping this less formal setting will encourage customers to approach our sellers directly and make their purchases more easily.
Sellers can put up links to their own websites and other places like their Etsy shops where they sell their wares. They can also put up paypal widgets displaying their goods for sale in this group if they wish And add as many pictures and item listings that they want.
Sales will be by negotiation between buyers and sellers.
And if you are a buyer looking for something in particular you can put in a request to the group and see if our sellers have what you are looking for.

We will see how the group develops and in the meantime Creative Cafe Salesrooms is still running as usual so you can still make any purchases you want in there and carry on listing your items for sale free.

I've put up a seperate discussion for members introductions and feel free to promote your work in a discussion of your own as well. We are planning on closing the Salesrooms site later this year as the formal registration system seems to put buyers off and I've hoping more sales will be generated informally in this group and on Creative Cafe in general. I know quite a few sales have taken place that way already.
