All people can write a little poem...or one line that helps everyone feel like settling in and creating something. We'd like something postiive and uplifting as well as welcoming and
comfortable without being too mushy. Hahaha! that's alot, isn't it? Well, let's get started,
lets' boogie, let's blow the roof off, let's have fun. What's your line? What's the tune you
whistle?
When I wake up in the morning I often get a song in my head and that song will keep coming back all day.
The kind of songs I whistle are catchy, infectious jingles and standards with a nice rhythm and beat.
They make you want to get up and dance or get up and sing.
I can't whistle much now due to not enough teeth but some examples were 'Singing the Blues'
and most of Roy Orbison and some Elvis' and other 50s and 60s stuff.

I sing some nonsense tunes and words to the cat in the bath and like Lisa can't whistle but like trying sometimes.
I am also having trouble thinking of lyrics for this theme song because I have writing adverts for new members to join us in my head and so these are more like a jingle than a song. In each of these adverts I repeat lines like 'Don't Let Disability Mean Inequality' and 'Join us and let your imagination run free' and 'Create, Construct, Concoct, Chat'
Will have to spend more time in the bath and see if any ideas for lyrics do get in my head over the coming weeks.

Ssounds good, Mandy. I don't think we are in a big hurry, and we know that artist of all sorts and kinds rarely view their own work with
a sense of satisfaction. I bet you have some good stuff written down.
Jill, a song or jingle or snipet can all contain just a few words that can be repeated, or not. Your theme song can be anything you like.
The words you mention are good and to the point. I especially like Create, construct, concoct, chat.

Hi Bright
I don't think I want it to sound like an advert though. Like the Cafe is a good place to hang around but not in a hard sell kind of way. Trouble is I am not sure what I do want at the moment! Will be glad to see what the others come up with. Richard Burton has said he is going to join us as well so that is good. He is a musician amongst many other creative things. I am gradually going around asking more members to join in. Like you said to Mandy we are not in a big hurry so can see how things develop as we go along now.
Thanks for your advice
Jill
I keep thinking about cafe society. Not sure if that conjures up good or bad images in other people.
I was going to write a blog post about Creative Cafe being a new kind of cafe society. Different, I think, to the ladies wot lunch society...actually much different.
There is something classless about Creative Cafe and no pressures to do anything when you join either. Will keep having a think aobut this and at some point a bit of a ditty might come into my head. Although having taken a whole lorazepam to sleep last night....the creative grey cells might not waking up till about 3.00pm

I often think, my body is like a society. Things do and dont work, things go wrong, things change, things on macro and micro scales are kind of the same thing. The principles are the same.
Does that make any sense? No, probably not, but then does life or existence make any sense? Its all about some kind of creation we dont understand. But its wonderfull thinking about it all.
Lisa, I really liked when you said,"it's wonderful thinking about it all." It's wonderful thinking about creation, too. It's wonderful to be with here at Creatvive Cafe, with people like me who create as we play and express who we are as we live to the fullest every day. Just a little brainstorming!
