I have been keen on doing patchwork and having ideas for projects like this Creative Cafe. Am hopeless at art! Would like to learn more about photography.
Love music but can only play chopsticks on the piano! Love reading and don't mind writing.

Do you have any disabilities that affect your creativity?

I have been diagnosed with Bipolar for 30 years. I guess it affects my creativity but is hard to compare since I have no experience of not having bipolar! At college being a bit manic ment I could stay up all night writing essays and meet the deadlines but getting too manic makes everything more chaotic rather than creative in my experience.

Where did you hear about Creative Cafe? If you heard about Creative Cafe from another member please say who as those recruiting most new members will win prizes.

Creative Cafe is set up and run by volunteers with mental health and other disabilities in Brighton Uk. We say 'Don't Let Disability Mean Inequality' and want this site to provide equal opportunities for disabled members to show off their creativity alongside members who have no disabilities in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
Thanks to Timothy Buckley, Peter Loudoun, Tom Higgins , Brian Goddard and Tony Davies for agreeing to be trustees and volunteers helping with this Creative Cafe project.

How did the flu jab go? Think it was wise to have it. You don't need any more complications and flu viruses can be very dangerous.

Winter seems to have come too early, doesn't it? I find it a real struggle. Winter is usually difficult for me but this year it seems to be more difficult. Then again, I have other personal factors that have drained me. Still life is life is life and I have to roll with best as.

Had a great time out with Em and she does always lift my spirits. She has a car now. I think it is a an old Fiat. It just passed it's MOT so should last her another year. She loves the freedom it brings her and it means we can go out together to places I wouldn't usually brave going.

I have some news about Direct Payments but will write privately about that..and then myabe do a blog post...later when there is something of substance to share.
