DINA WAS 15 YEARS OLD. TAKEN FROM US TOO SOON. SHE WAS HIT BY A CAR AND KILLED. WE WILL MISS HER FOREVER AND SHE WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS.

Like you, I can wait to be a grandmother. My daugther, Emily, is going to be 20 in December. Yes, we survived the teen years in tact. Actually, apart from a year when Em was quite depressed her teen years were an absolute joy. I spent alot of time with her and we worked closely together on her GCSE's(final year exams in comulsory education). She is now at university, studying Criminology. Am very, very proud of her.

Sorry your kids teen years are such a stressful time. I think that is the norm for alot of families. I was really lucky with Em then again she understood that I have mental illness and maybe that made for a different balance in our dynamic. It was her and me and rallying along together.

So sorry that you have damaged your hand. That must be very frustrating as well as painful. Also sorry that your hubby has heart problems. Sure you worry about him. My Dad is very ill and I fret (maybe too much) over him.

Glad your boys help out at home. My daughter is nearly 20 now but mostly is away from home...making her own life. She goes to uni and works 4 days a week, plus seems to live with her boyfriend, so she has a busy life. I don't like to put on her and anyway, I am kinda used to being on my own these days.

Friday is card making day. As in my friend comes round and we make cards together. In fact she is due in about 15 minutes so I better get my act together.

Have a lovely Friday and if we don't get to catch up over the weekend, hope that is a good one for you and your family x
