About Me and my Creativity.

I am a recently retired Mum of 3. I am struggling to cope with many life changes right now, spectacularly unsuccessfully at times. I have always loved to create, be it in the garden, through writing. or a craft project. However I love to paint. I'm not confident of my ability, but I have learnt it 'distracts' me from my thoughts and worries when I am low. I'm not sure that what I paint is good, but it makes me feel good, so I will perservere to overcome this time in my life. I hope to discover change for the better through creativity, and my new discovery, blogging!

Likes and Dislikes

I like being a mum and wife, walking,reading,painting,music,dancing,cooking,dolphins,sunsets,flowers.gardening.
I dislike feeling useless,not good enough, anxious and moody. I dislike how I treat other people when I'm down.

Do you have any disabilities that affect your creativity?

I suffer with depression. I am also menopausal, a disasterous combination! This often renders me totally incapable of doing anything creative, as my mind shuts down to everything.

Where did you hear about Creative Cafe? If you heard about Creative Cafe from another member please say who as those recruiting most new members will win prizes.

I hope to discover a way of communicating through painting and maybe one day produce paintings I feel confident enought to 'show'. I believe creativity will improve my life enormously. I am excited that sites such as Creative Cafe exist.
