About Me and my Creativity.: Hi! My name is Diane and I've been making 'things' for as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have two incredible artists in my family, my great Aunt Rosie and my Grandmother Lois, the two of them together could make anything. They started me crafting as soon as I could hold a crochet needle. My first jewelry was made using macrame and wooden beads when I was 8 years old. Over the years, I have learned to crochet, cross-stitch, knit, needle-point, paper mache', pottery, painting and watercolor. I found my passion when I discovered wire-jewelry and lampwork beads. It was here that I could combine all of the elements I loved and at the same time create a unique piece of art jewelry. Four years later, I am still obsessed, and always thinking about what I want to create next.

My passions include learning to make lampwork beads, cats, traveling, classical music, jazz, art, fine wine and networking.

I love meeting new people and sharing ideas, so don't be afraid to drop a line or two. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Lovely to hear from you. And the new pictures you have put up are great.
I am more on my space than on facebook which I don't seem to get on with very well. I have also neglected my space in recent months as things have been so busy. Anyway it will be great if you can become a more active member of Creative Cafe. I know all these things take time though.
To get a $1 link is quite easy. You just click on the widget and it takes you to a form and then you type in the url you want and a few details and then it takes you to paypal where you pay $1 and then it immediately puts up your link. I put one up for the Salesrooms to test it and had no problems. The only thing I thought was a bit off was that they only give you 21 characters to name your link which ment I had to put Salesroom instead of Salesrooms!

Thanks also for joining the new Salesrooms group and feel free to promote your work for sale as much as you like. We will see how things develop but I hope people will gain more sales in this less formal setting.

So will hope to catch up again soon.

Welcome to Creative Cafe. I have just had look at your Etsy shop and you have some lovely jewelery on there. Would be nice if you can put up some photos on here as well. Although I know these things take up time.

Anyway it is quite easy on this site to do things like change your page appearance and add photos, music, videos, write blogs. You can start and join in groups and discussions and make new friends. We have a new Cafe News most weeks usually on Mondays and any photos you put up could be chosen to feature in the Spotlight on Main. And any blogs you write could be chosen as Blog of the Week. The old Cafe News are filed in a discussion if you want to see what we have been doing since we opened last November.

The Salesrooms need to be registered for seperately and there are instructions on the site. All the listings are free. If you want any help with anything just ask by leaving a comment on my page or sending a message.

Hope that is enough info for you for the moment and I will hope to catch up and get to know you better soon.
