Hi Richard
I am on a list at the moment where mass doses of Whingeox seem to have been taken by a particular member. It doesn't take for happy reading.
Yes I will give you a ring when I can soon.
Bye for Now

Afternoon Richard
I got a bargain today. Pair of lovely pinky/red dolly shoes for £2. Had to be done.

Hello Jill
Good to hear from you.
Have you heard of "Whingox" - I've heard that's quite good as well.
I used to have a poster on my wall at Arnold Lodge,
"And yea, the miserable f*ckers shall not inherit the Earth"
Quite direct really.
Ring ...
Hiya Mandy
Thought "Slumdog" excellent - much better than I thought it was going to be.
Have never done "Torchwood" - can't comment.
Dost thou likest Goldfrapp?
Richard
Hi Richard
Sounds like a real bargain hunt. Buzz Lightyears are pretty expensive to buy..especially the ones that talk. 50 p.....Game on.
Haven't been to a booty in years. I used to enjoy them and jumble sales.
Anyway great to read that you are...
Hi Richard
I am taking Despondex to stop me being annoyingly cheerful! See my blog post for details...
Will have to ring you up in a while and hear the latest news from Leicester.
Bye for Now
Jill

Recently returned to Leicester..... a new chapter awaits!

Glad you enjoyed Slumdog. I was a bit shell-shocked when I first started watching it but, as I got into it, thought the story line was very powerful. Bittersweet ending too which is a more realistic reflection of how life is.
Last night I watched 'Yes Man'. Jim Carrey doing Jim Carrey stuff but was light enough for me to take in (brain cells not working as a team at moment) and I quite enjoyed it.
Well if you don't like Torchwood is a bit pointless writing about it. It has grown on me and although the aliens still leave a lot to be desired in regards to the rest of the technical wonderstuff that goes on...am gripped.
Right, off to watch rest of 'Midsommer Murders' and then open a family size pack of Kit Kats. Yummy!

Anyway great to read that you are getting out and about. What did you make of 'Slumdog Millionnaire'? I am into the 'Torchwood' special that is on everyday this week.
Enjoy those videos. I watched 'Slumdog'. Powerful stuff.
I heard 'little boots' on Radio 2. I quite like them..not sure I could eat a whole one though but a couple of tunes would do fine.
Andy Murray..Hmmm. Maybe next year!!! Won't know what to do with meself now Wimbledon is drawing to it's conclusion. Maybe back in the garden with the cutty outty bits.
Thanks for the Cabaret intro. The songs and dance routines were great in that film. And what is it with Liza's eyes? Beyond awesome.
I have seen all of Andy Murray's games and he looks like he is making a dog's dinner of it, although he is through to the quarter finals. I want him to win but I worry that he isn't on a par with Roger Federa and the athletic Rafa Nadal. I miss him in the tournament. Still Andy has time on his side and think he will get much better.
Thanks for letting me know about the Lily Allen album. I like her music alot and is time I added another cd to my collection.
Well, have been up since 3 am and am now getting a bit tired again so going to curl up in bed and listen to the radio...hopefully falling asleep listening to mellow tones of presenter and the music.
Your cuisine sounds divine. Mushrooms and creamy sauce...yummy! I am bit partial to scrambled eggs with salmon at the mo.
Due to dizzyness am not cooking much (don't want to scold myself or drop anything)...I did loads of sandwiches yesterday for the tribe gathered at mine to watch Andy Murray polverise his opponent. I felt quite sad for the bloke but much more relieved that Andy was playing high quality tennis. I guess you don't get to be ranked 3rd in the world for nothing.
Any further references to the Bowie film will cease although I likes what I likes and I also likes Cabaret. A personal fav. Liza Minnelli was stunning in that.
Bit of a contrast to yesterday in that my 'symptoms' are more severe. yesterday was best day since this virus probby started and today my vision has gone blurry again and am a tad wobbly so Sunday is going to be a day of rest.
Baked potatoe eh? I am going to have one of them...soonish. With beans and grated cheese filling. So what's your filling?
A fellow winjer (as in has Labrynthitis) said the only good thing about it was the link to the Bowie film. A film, that is a great view. Especially when those orange striped puppety things exchange heads. I also like the worm that talks to the girl and offers her in for a cuppa tea with his missus. Some great one liners. Oh and not forgetting the masked ball. I do like a masked ball (absolutely no double entre intended..merely stating fact).
Your card is still pending. Apologies....haven't had the right kind of inspiration to do something even more funky. It will happen though.
