P.S. I was listening to this song when I read your email and because it is a song that touches me...and in a positive way,.....I want to share it with you:
although it has been a truly horrid time for you. Sending a big hug right now ...a really really big one.
Have missed you but knew you must have been busy, so didn't want to press you.
I can't imagine what losing a son has done to your boyfriend. Em (my daughter) is the saving grace in my life. She is the person that makes it all meaningful to me. Because I did something right not just by bringing her into the world but because she has grown into a wonderful person. Anyway won't go on, particularly when things are so raw for you and your boyfriend.
My thoughts go to your boyfriend at this time and all I can hope is that between you, you find comfort in each other.
If I could offer some advice and feel free to ignore it or tell me to shut up but I didn't get time to grieve for my Mum (as I was too busy trying to hold it together for my Dad)...I would say "let it out" (whenever and wherever) because grief needs to be.
Thanks your your kind thoughts. Things remain difficult with Dad. The poor thing. I am often at a loss. Sometimes, I get angry (mostly not around him because that won't help either of us) but most of the time I am just gutted. Such is life. Often to endure is all I can do but other people who care and also support me with Dad, keep me going. Sadly, I haven't got anyone close to hand who can help consistently but I keep on keeping on. I do have people on the internet and friends I have met through my blog who I can mail or ring and they have been more support than they can know.
So my lovely. I do hope you write your blog posts. I do mine on my website but would love to read anything you write on hear and to be able to show I care in whatever way I can.
Was just on Mandys page and couldn't help noticing the news you left about your boyfriend's son. That is terrible for you all. I hope you are OK and coping with the shock. Very sorry and I will be thinking of you.
Hi there! Hope you are doing well. I make jewellery also and its always great to talk to and get advice from other artisans. How are things going and what is your most recent venture? I see u paint and draw also. Do you sell your paintings? What kind of jewellery most enspires you. So many questions. Do you make a living from your craft? Cheers, Karen.
