- About Me and my Creativity.
- Raised by artist parents, I loved drawing, painting and various crafts while growing up. I married, and also completed an AA in fine art as a young adult. When I moved to London, I took up the trade of a sample seamstress. We had a boy in 1983. After a divorce and much life experience, I went back to college as a somewhat mature adult, and completed a BA in Interior Design/Architecture. I had another son in 2001 (with my current partner), at an even greater mature age, and a couple years later combined my art, craft and design skills into making artists' books. I have been involved in bookworks for 4 years, and officially launched myself in 2006 at the L:ondon Artists Book Fair, at the ICA, London.

- I like: Flowers, discussions, thoughts and deeds. Good people. I like some dissention, challenge, creativity; but with focus, passion and committment.

- A bookwork of mine, called, I Am An Art Gallery, was shown alongside 90 other unique altered artists' books, at the Newport (S. Wales) Central Libray from 1-9 Nov 07. Also, I had a table in the theatre at the LAB '07 at the ICA, London 23-25 Nov 07. Look out for it on my various web pages. Next, I will be making a couple one-off bookworks for project/exhibitions. I also plan to launch a website of my own, and hopefully expand my selling/networking potential. Watch this space! Leslie

Jewelry masterclasses on offer
Hi everyone!
2 colleagues of mine are running these new 'not-for-profit' jewelry making and marketing classes. Look at the events page for the business side of jewelry making. The workshops are being run by Sarah Palmer and Pauline Hamilton, of Palmer Hamilton Partnership. They delivered the Fast Track training I did last year, which was brilliant. They are lovely. Don't seem to have been in touch with you for a while so I thought I'd write you a comment. Hope things are going well for you at the moment? My latest thing is I've joined us up to Twitter. Have you tried it at all? It's a bit of a timewaster keep on reading all the Tweets and a bit addictive I find. My breathing has been getting worse so I spend even more time sitting down on the computer. Have managed to get in the garden a few times when it has been sunny though.

Lovely to hear from you. You sound busy with lots of projects going on. I saw you in the shoutbox as well asking how to put one up but I can't remember how I did it sorry. Maybe you need to write to their help people if it is causing you trouble.
Things here are ticking along. It was lovely Springlike weather today which made me feel quite lighthearted. Seems to have been a long winter until now.
Anyway I'll be keen to read any stuff you put up when you get time. Sorry we had to close the salesrooms site but do feel free to promote your work in blogs and in the Salesrooms group whenever you want.
