About Me and my Creativity.

The following artwork was done by my lovely mother, who is sadly no longer with us, he is a brief description:

MARTHA BUDGETT
1923-1997
Martha Budgett, who also painted, has had previous work shown and sold at, Roland, Browse and Delbanco,-(now The Browse and Darby Gallery of Cork Street.)
Her Sculpture has also been seen at The Usiskin Gallery in Hampstead. She has also shown and sold at Battersea Art Show, and has made final selection at Alexander Palace.
When living on the Kent/Sussex border she worked in most mediums, -inks and watercolour, Oil and Acrylic, and clay – usually creating heads, whjch she then cast herself. Nothing was deliberated, they seemed to appear after thumping and stroking the original lump, and she then followed the form.
Much of her work is in private collections, both in this country and abroard.
Her work is signed with a G and a question mark G?
She sadly died in May 1997 at the age of 74
She was a remarkable woman who left a wonderful legacy.

Likes and Dislikes

Like most thing's, do not like the coverage of mental health on television or in most of the media, we are still to often depicted as mad, bad and dangerous, which is simply not true.

Do you have any disabilities that affect your creativity?

Time, is the problem with me, as I don't have enough to sit down and be creative, I do hope to change this, and set some special time aside.
