As soon as I saw "Summer Tones" by our Creative Cafe Founder Member
Azzami Bell I thought it would make a brilliantly cheerful and summery side picture. Azzami took this photo of an Iceland Poppy and Geranium in my back garden one sunny day recently. Azzami confesses to not being much of a "digital-joiner-innerer" having been a computer engineer for 25 years he "got rather put off". Azzami is however an enthusiastic amateur photographer, philosopher, is keen on politics and other fascinating subjects. He is also an occasional artist and modeller. Azzami has helped me behind the scenes with many Creative Cafe tasks and is one of our original group members and trustees who vote on any decisions we need to make together. Azzami is quite a character with an encyclopedic knowledge on a wide range of subjects which makes him very interesting company. Azzami is quite disabled by heart desease and cannot walk far without the wheelchair but he stays as active as possible. At 57 Azzami says that his three children and 6 young grandchildren with another one on the way keep him feeling young.
On Creative Cafe we are now going to have a summer break from challenges and contests although new entries are still welcome for the Side Picture Challenge and I will also be awarding some spot prizes for Star Pictures, Star Comments and Star Blogs over the coming weeks.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer and I will hope to be reading about the good times you are having in the sunshine in your blog posts as well.
Bye for Now
Jill
