My first blog entry

Although i've been with Creative Cafe for a while I haven't written a blog entry yet so here goes. I was wondering what others would think of my attempt at making jewellery. I mostly knit baby things but in summer there isn't much call for that so thought I'd try my hand at something else. Here are my latest efforts.

These earrings I made by crocheting craft wire in a circle and adding a bead on each loop. I was amazed at how quickly I had got myself a new pair of earrings. Would you wear them?
This beaded necklace is from a tutorial on the web from Robyn's Tutorials it looked hard to do but once I got into it I thought hey this is neat.

Gonna keep practising until I feel confident about selling. Thanks for looking & Happy 4th of July to our US friends.

Hi Cindy

Wow those earrings look interesting and the beaded necklace looks lovely. That is a very original idea to crochet the craft wire. I would wear them except I don't have pierced ears! Very nice to learn a new craft when there isn't so much call for knitted things in the summer months.
