Let your imagination run free

My two sons have ventured off to Australia to visit thier dad. They are having lots of fun, but I miss them so much. I suppose I just have to get used to being on my own. I'm so used to being mum that for a couple of weeks I just didn't know what to do with myself.....on the jewellery side, I am not getting any sales. I dont't know is it has got anything to do with the recession but I am finding it difficult to get people to buy my products...so if anyone has any good tips or advice, it would be much appreciated. I already have a website, www.beadboudoir.co.uk, and have a few items in my local hairdressers but no sales as yet. I'm not giving up though, as I see that other people are making it, so I'll keep plodding on.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated...

Hi Karen

Nice to hear from you. Glad to hear you are back beading again. Yes put as many links up as you want. It is quite easy to do links with the chain icon in the toolbars.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Bye for Now

Hi Jill, thanks for replying to my blog. My boys have been away for 6 months now and are due back at the end of this month, cant wait to see them. I havent been on the site for a while as I resighned myself to job hunting for a while, to no avail. So i'm back at the beading again. I have bought more supplies, as money was tight before, so I can make up some more lovely jewels. I have a stall booked for this summer at a community fair, but am still looking for more hits on my website. I will take the advice and put a link on here, thanks! Hope you are well. Thanks, Karen

Hi Karen

Sorry you are missing your boys. How long are they going to be away for?

I think a lot of people are finding sales slow in this economic climate. We did have a discussion on ways to promote your work which you may find useful to look at. It is HERE
You can also put links to your website like this Bead Boudoir which will make it easier for people to find.

Hope you get to enjoy yourself while your boys are away as well!

Bye for Now
Jill
