Ha Ha! I know what you mean. Every once in a while I look at my friends and check out whom I have not communicated with lately. Then I try to reconnect. I just can't keep up with everyone so pick a few at a time.
Hey Vicki - guess what? I took a course in PMC at the end of May and got certified to teach other people how to make silver jewelry. I have a link to my instructors class on the Links page of my web site. His work is awesome! Check out the few he has incorporating Fimo clay. Sigh, some day I will be as good. :-)
Any new fun creations on your end? Do you use Fimo or other brands. If you mix clays do you find that they bake well together? I have some of the gold leaf sheets to add to the clay but have not used it yet. I need to make myself experiment sometime.
Anyway, just thought I'd catch you up.
Hi Vicki,
I'm just making a wee bit of time to introduce myself to some newer members. Your work is gorgeous! I will have a closer inspection when we get back from my book fair tomorrow and camping. I'd love to purchase something.
all the best, Leslie
Oh that sounds like hard work but a good opportunity to be doing a six day fair. I will be interested to know how you get on wih it.
Good luck and don't work too hard!
Bye for Now
Jill
Just to say I read your introduction and had a look at your blog. The animal pictures are great and so are the stories to go with them! really like the idea of your chicken coming in to see you everyday!

I have replied to your email now. Thanks for your support for Creative Cafe. I am impressed you make the beads all yourself. They look really clever. The email will tell you more about the Salesrooms and stuff.
Welcome to Creative Cafe. I was just looking at your Etsy site. So you really make the beads yourself. They look excellent. Would love to hear more about how you make them one of these days.
Anyway I hope you are familiar with how to do things on this site like change your page appearance and put up photos, videos, music, write blogs. And you can start and join in groups and discussions and make new friends. If you would like to see what we have been doing since we opened last November then the old weeks Cafe news are filed in a discussion. We usually have the Cafe News and Blog of the Week change on Mondays and the Spotlight photos are slowly changed every couple of days. Everything you put up may be chosen to be featured on Main which brings added publicity for your work.
As far as the Salesrooms are concerned you need to register for these seperately and there are instructions on the site and in a discussion. There are no listing fees and though we are going to introduce site charges on Sales soon there are none yet. We are getting about 2 or 3 sales a week in the salesrooms at the moment and Theresa our new project manager for the site is working to increase traffic and sales soon.
Anyway I hope that is enough information for you for the moment. If you want any help with anything just ask by leaving a comment on my page. And i will hope to catch up and get to know you better soon.
Thank you for the welcome. I'm just trying to get to grips with things here today. Don't think I shall get anything listed as I need some new photos. Will now rush off and have a look at your stuff!
Presume I can go to the forum if I find I need help??
Hi Vicki! welcome and I must say I really love your avatar. I will check out your etsy site and am sure to fall in love with your work. I love working with clay but have not done so for a number of months.
Let your imagination run free

I am getting on fine, but I am extraordinarily busy as I'm doing a six day fair next week-end.
I will pick up on Creative Cafe when I get back and when I've done the washing and sorted out the inevitable chaos to which I shall return!!
I've had a practise, but haven't had time to follow it up.
Am also waiting for some new photos.
Best wishes for now
Vicki
