How are you. I hope things are going well for you at the moment? I really like your background picture on this page now. There is a new member called Ann Rose who is looking to discuss jewelery making in the Salesrooms group at the moment if you are interested.
Would be nice to hear how you are getting on anyway.
More worrying coincidences, in the 70's my friends were 2 girls from Kincardine, who had gone to Dunfermline High Shool. I am assuming you are like myself, the wrong side of 21(ha ha), I remember the Clachan Ceilidh well as one of my friends older brothers played with them I think. I helped run mobile discos in the 70's, Oh dear all those flares & glitter.
The 2 girls in question by the way were called Shona & Alicia, ( no surnames just in case).
Well, similarties! I went to school in Dunfermline, have lived in Alloa ( first husband was in the Clachan Ceilidh in the 70's, based around Alloa) Was born in deepest Fife where my dad belongs and we moved to Kincardine cause my mum missed the Ochils! The Ochils are to blame for a lot. My dad met my mum while camping and hillwalking with the Scouts in Alva.
Hi, just found you in the salesroom and came over to see a bit about you. Although I am now in the N.E. of Scotland I grew up in Kincardine and my mums family were all in ALva. Have walked the hills above Tillicoultry many times

I feel a bit stupid as I have only just worked out that it is you made Mandys birthday bracelet and has bought the soaps! I am sorry my cat knocked the top off one of the soaps but I have sent you a refund for that and am still sending both so hopefully you can still use it. It doesn't look bad. Just not as much icing as should be there. Anyway that parcel should get to you in the week next week.
I am not really trying to be a seller in the Salesrooms. It is just when we first opened it looked empty in there before members started putting their things up for sale and so I put some things up to make the place look busier.
I should have realised it was you before this but I was thinking more of your name than the name of your shop and somehow didn't connect the two. Anyway I am glad you are a member on Creative Cafe as well as a seller.
Anyway it is late and I am going off to bed now but I am really glad to have realised it is you here Valerie!
Oh yes and if you would like to add yourself to the map I have put up it is HERE by the way. Would like to hear more about your work with materials like hemp some time as well.
Welcome to Creative Cafe. I was just waiting for my cat to come in so I can go to bed and logged on to see you have joined us! That is great. We have some active Scotish members like Margaret Hamilton of Slackstiches, Aileen Clark and Trinket Tree so I hope you will feel at home here soon. I will have a look at your website after writing this comment.
I see you have already worked out how to change your page appearancee which looks brilliant and it is also easy enough to put up photos, music, videos, write blogs. You can also start and join in groups and discussions and make new friends. If you need any help with anything just ask by leaving a comment on my page.
The Salesrooms is different and needs to be registered for seperately. There are instructions on the site and in a discussion. It is free to list up to 50 items for sale and there are no site charges yet. We will be introducing site charges on sales soon though. Theresa our new project manager for the Salesrooms has lots of ideas for increasing traffic and sales. At the moment we are getting about 2 or 3 sales a week in there but hope to improve on this in the near future.
If you would like to see what we have been doing since we opened last November then the old weeks Cafe news are filed in a discussion. We have the new weeks Cafe news and Blog of the Week on the Main page usually on Mondays and the members photos in the Spotlight are updated regularly. You can vote for which Blog of the Week and Photos you want up in the discussions and you can also add any News you would like included in the Cafe news. Apart from that there are some groups you may like to join.
Anyway I hope that is enough information for you at the moment and I will hope to catch up and get to know you better soon.

Your choker has arrived and it is georgous. And I really love the little handmade hand you put in with it as well. Very sweet isn't it!
Thanks a lot.

Yours looks good, though, I have to say! I hope it works well for you.
I noticed you have added the Shopit application to your page and it looks good. I hope you get some sales soon.
