How are you these days? How are your jewelery sales at the moment? There is a new member called Ann Rose who is looking to discuss jewelery making in the Salesrooms group if you are interested.
Would be nice to hear from you and how you are getting on anyway.
I have tried to vote for you but following the link you put on my comment I could only write a recommendation. Then when I clicked for that it took me to a sign up page that I filled in but then I din't have a zip code to put in. I tried my UK postcode but it doesn't fit.
What am I doing wrong Elayne!?
Checked out your jewellery. I love the snowflake bracelet. It is so very pretty.
I do sell my cards. I haven't been particulary pro-active on that front. Not very good at the marketing side of things although am organising for a stall at a local festival.
Yesterday, I made a couple of father's day cards on request. I tend to sell more either by word of mouth or when people want something in particular for a friend or family member.
Take care there and good luck with selling your jewellery. It is beautiful
I got your message about not being able to add friends without an error coming up. The best thing to do is go to the NING help centre HERE and tell them about the problem you are getting. I would write to them for you but when I have done that in the past they just say to get the member with the problem to write in.
Another thing I have just noticed below is that you have replied to Christopher below on your own comments but he won't get the message unless you comment back onto his page.
I seem to remember reading something about Ning who run the site were upgrading the music systems so people could share their music across networks. Or something like that. So that may be the reason your music got deleted when they did the improvements. If you want to upload your music again we can monitor it and make sure it doesn't get deleted. If you do get any more problems we can always report the issue to the Ning Help Centre.
I am up late again! Hope you are having a good week so far.
I can't seem to find a way of showing you the html code you need to write to do the links by hand rather than using the hyperlink on here because whenever I write the code up it keeps showing up as link! I have just deleted about 5 comments that way. So if you look HERE that shows you the basic code to write. It is easy enough really. Just more fiddly to do than using the hyperlink. I used to have to write the code out all the time before they added in the hyperlink gadget. Anyway let me know how you get on.
And I would also check your pop up blocker isn't stopping your hyperlink function from working.
I have just added a photo and there doesn't seem to be anywhere you can put a link on the photos. I have added a link to the first one on the comments. Do you know how to do this? Just go to the add hyperlink chain icon above and highlight whatever words you want and then paste in the url you want to link to. I will add some more for you wen I get time and you can add them on the comments as well.
I think that is the only way it is possible because there doesn't seem to be anywhere to add a link when adding a photo does there.
Yes your website is cool! I have ben looking around. But I couldn't see the bracelet I like. I have left a comment on the photo asking if you have a link. It is worth putting links back to where the items can be purchased because the photos are picked up in the search engines and you might have potential customers who look but because they cannot immediately see where to buy they go. Also put tags on your photos so they get picked up in the search engines.
I am not sure about what to put on Etsy but I have heard people say list a couple of items a day rather than all at once as that keeps your pictures recent with more potential customers. Also write in the forums so other ellers and buyers get to know you. All these things take time though. I sometimes wonder how anyone gets time to make anything with all the time it takes to promote the work!
Your jewelery is lovely though so you should find buyers soon.
Yes I saw your great pillows and jewelery boxes in the Salesrooms. Sales are slow in there as well though and Theresa who was supposed to be marketing the site was getting married in Jul and told me she was doing all these prsee releases when she came back and since then I havn't heard from her! Really annoying...
Anyway have you tried selling your stuff on Etsy at all? They seem to get a lot of sales. Also sellers seem to write a lot of blogs to get their name known. We have got a load of traffic on here from that Entrecard blog scheme but it takes me time to do all the visits.
Yes the pink ribbon scheme is well known isn't it. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

I have done it! That website confused me a lot though! Now I need a drink to relax...
Good luck in the competition.
