Thank you. It was so kink of your to leave such a nine comment.

I'm right now on Writers' Cafe. Is there a place where I can add my poetry and short stories? Or is this just a blog site?

re:
have been to your website and found it a bit difficult to work out what to do at first but am very glad I did. I really like your artworks a lot. In particular Standing in the Doorway and Standing Alone caught my eye and it is nice to see the verses besides the pictures. I will be going back to look at more as soon as I have time.

Thanks so much Jill. I'm just perusing the site now and uploading some music and photos. This is fun. I'll be doing much more tomorrow when I have more time. The poem you spoke of won me a trip to Hong Kong last year.

Thanks again,
Jo

Hi Jill

Glad you got pc probbies sorted and also that the inhalor meant you could clean your kitchen etc. Is a brilliant little thing isn't it? Giving you more energy and freedom.

I do like the sound of the dress/jacket combo. It reminds me of the 60's when me mum would take me on day trips, clothes shopping in London. I remember getting a lime green dress with a sort of matching coat (as in they came as a set). The coat was white with lime green and orange circles on it. I loved it.

I am sure that 90% (if not more) of my physical ailments are caused by stress. My friend (the one who used to be my boss) has had a bucket load of stress cos her mum (who is in her 90's) has become blind and housebound and she has had constant battles trying to get the right care in place for her mother. A bit like my story. Anyway, she has got this problem...she keeps falling over (through continual dizzy spells). I thought it might be Menieres but the experts reckon No, although they don't know what it is. Whatever it is, I am sure underlying it is stress. Such is how life can be and is for some of us.

The new tablets are veering me towards mania so am cutting down the dosage. I don't mind being up but I don't want to be on the top of my shed doing the Conga at 4 in the morning!!!!

anyway, enjoy all your preparations for the weekend. I hope you have a fantabulous time. :>)

Evening Jill

You feeling better now? Do hope so.

In spite of the ear thingy, which the doctor has now put a name to 'Labryinthitis'. After watching the film with David Bowie in (many moons ago) I am imagining lots of little goblins and fluffy animals running around my ear canals trying to find the wait out :>)

I walked back from town (and by myself) but not before picking up some pink plastic sandals from 'New Look'. I didn't like any of their dresses but got a loverly purple evening dress from The Heart Foundation for a fiver and also a pair of trousers for Dad. Not easy because he is a size 43 waist and 32 leg. But I did it! Game on.

The Stemetil do make me a bit off me face, the GP reckons that is because it heightens the sedatory nature of Lorazepam...but it is a nice sedation as my mood is really good. She has also done me a prescription for the wafer thingies. They seem the only thing that works on my migraines.

Apart from that and sending some recent photos (well New Year's Eve) of msyelf to my ex boss (and more importantly friend) along with one of me handmade cards that has been my day.

Am now going to curl up in bed. Suki has already settled there. So it is deffo a girlie night in

Bye for now

Hey again Jill

Again..thank you. Yes I am a true Canadian...I lived in Northern Ontario up until about 6 years ago when I decided enough cold winters and snow for this girl. I have been in Florida and I love it. My family loves it too because they come visit often and never have to worry about hotels or costs. So it works for us all.
I look forward to following in your club:)

Have a very nice day!

Evening Jill

Having real probbies with Ning. I tried commenting on Azzi's photos and then tried to read your anti natzi blog post but couldn't access either.

When it comes to the BNP. I am totally disgusted that they got 2 UK European MPs and The Greens didn't get any. What is all that about I wonder? Is England moving to the right. Didn't people have enough after Thatcher? Or do we (as a public..species even) have such short memories.

It only took one lot of voting to get Hitler in and what followed was horrific. I am shocked and saddened and very depressed by the elections.

But I can't stay too depressed about tht for too long as I need to fight off this damn ear infection. The tablets are helping some. I can't take the full dose because they interact with my lorazepam and they are my life safer meds. Still, I have fought on and done quite a bit considering am tired out alot of the time.

Glad you got a dress off ebay. Is it an evening wear dress or something for the day? Sure it will look great when you go visit your mum. Is nice to read you are travelling with your bro. Makes the journey more interesting and you can catch up on things.

I am hoping to be up to going out with my STR worker on Wednesday. I want to go to New Look. They are the only high street fashion store in Dunstable (apart from Next) that I like and Next clothes are way way above my budget. I fancy buying a flowery summer dress either that or a a line red dress (if they have one).

Okay, is getting difficult for me to type here. Need a lie down so heading off.

Hope things okay with you there. :>)

Hi Jill

That curry sounds delish. Bit of comfort food always helps. Glad you are feeling better too and did your bit for democracy. Well, such as any one of us can.

Sadly, my vote didn't count for much. Bedfordshire has now gone totally Tory. Seems we have 2 party politics in this country. Hoping that the European elections bring something better. I voted Green in the Euro election and would have voted for them locally if they had a candidate. Such a shame that they are so small because the environment is a priority. Actually the priority because is a bit pointless party politics if there isn't going to be a world worth living in. Think I might be being a bit cynical. It comes with age and experience.

I am glad Em voted because, from what I gather most of her friends and peer group have zilch interest, understanding or belief in politics in this country. I can understand their disillusionment but if they are the future..is all a bit sad. Anyway, things will be what they will be..All I could do is use my vote and I did.

Won't be out in the garden today cos it is grey and drizzly here. So think it will be cutty outy bits and milky coffees here.

Enjoy your day

aw that makes me feel very good that you say I am creative.Thank you so very much Jill. I am so glad you laughed, I love to make people smile or laugh, it is so good for the soul. Thank you for the credits, that was also very kind of you. I do not really advertise the animals blog that much, maybe just on my own site, lol! But thank you ever so much and God bless.

Hi Jill

Sorry last couple of days were grot for you. More a shame because a trip out to a pub on a sunny day would normally be a good thing. Hope you are picking up again.

I walked to town yesterday, to pick up prescription from GP. I felt okay ish for most of it but then got all hot and woozy. I thought it was panic but have felt feverish since then and also have some weird things going on with sinuses and ears and such. Perhaps bod is trying to fight off a virus. Will have to remember to take me mega multi vits and drink lots of orange juice.

I didn't let it ruin today though. Em came over and after we had carried out our 'public' duty (although i was still tempted to write same rubbish, different suits on the voting papers) I made us a lunch of grilled salmon fillets, fresh green beans and herby tatees with hollondaise sauce. Yep, I can go all Jamie Oliver when the mood takes me. I wanted to cook something nice for Em because it is often I get chance to cook for her now...or spend time just with her. It was quality!

Later we popped in to see Dad..and stayed when Em had to head off to work.

Now I am ever so slightly bushed. Hopefully, will get a long sleep in. I think I need to rest body and brain and let me immune system take over for a while.

Catch up soon :>)

Evening Jill

Sorry for absence. Last week was cancelled, due to migraines. Then, the mouse gave up the ghost and since then I have been out and about and doing stuffs.

Ventured to Luton today, in a taxi by myself. Was pretty grotty really but had to be done. Suki was running out of her ticker tablets. Still, has now been sorted and then spent afternoon in the garden.

Hows life been in Brighton? Hope you have been able to enjoy the glorious weather.

Got a letter from Richard today. He sounds very chipper, which is great news.

Anyway, lovely to be back on here.

Bye for now

Heya!

She and I are talking on Etsy so it looks like we'll get it all figured out. Glad you got time to garden! I wish I had a yard but I do have flowers in a couple of pots so that's okay.

Be well hun!

Hi Jill,

OMG - the first thing I noticed when I logged into Creative Cafe was the background. I think it looks awesome! I wasn't even thinking about matching the colors that are already on Creative Cafe and they coordinate so beautifully. ;o) Thank you for selecting my photo for the side picture! And the write-up is absolutely perfect - again, thanks so much.

I have been coveting OmShanti's products...can I select something in her shop? I would be happy to pay any extra for shipping/handling, etc. Just let me know what to do next.

Thanks!
Brenda

Thanks,
Aileen.
