Hi Mandy,

Must be telepathic, I was only thinking of you the other day.

Not been too good here for the past 2 weeks, Bob has been in Hospital with a low platelet count, he has a condition with a great big long name shortened down to ITP.

Thankfully the count has gone up now so he was allowed home today - he was panacking thinking he wasn't going to get to the craft fairs!! but as I said Bob will go to the ball!!!.

Not a lot been happening here apart from going to and fro to the hospital.

I am addicted to a game on face book bedazzled I think its called - played for an hour the other day and did nothing but dream about it at bedtime!!!!!

The kitties are doing well, little Daisy is growing up fast and Crusha is soo good with her.

Glad the garden is coming along nicely - see if you can get some winter flowering pansies, they certainly lift the spirits on a cold wintery day. Springtime will be exciting for you planning the plants and putting in seeds, just love watching them all grow.

Anyway a cuppa is calling me!!!

Take care, Louise xx

Hey Lady Card Maker ! Life's treating me rather well... Even had the luxury of being a little lazy on the social web front lately... And I've written yet more music, a Beatlesque "On The Wings Of My Guardian Angel," a segue for our first album, and a bunch of tunes for classical guitar that I have been carrying in my mind since the mid-90s or so in some instances...

Glad to know that you're taking the time to have some fun in the midst of all the busy-ness... hope you have an inspired week !

Blessed be,
Chris

Hi Mandy

Can't be long. My laptop keeps crashing again. Apparently it is dodgy power supply connection. Cards needed are for Liam age 30 he likes football ManU, Lewes age 11, Nicole age 18, Al age 50something, Sally age 50 something. Those are birthdays coming up anyway. If you have anything suitable for any of these let me know.

I will write more tomorrow once laptop has got more tapes and bandages on it again. Otherwise it may crash anytime and I lose anything that isn't saved.

Sorry but will be back asap.

Bye for now

Hi Mandy

How's things? Are you doing any cards at the mo? I need some more! There is only 2 left from the ones I bought not long ago and still a host of birthdays coming up it seems! Have been in a panic because all the fuss of the 'happy holidays' isn't long now either and it seems a lot to organise.

Have had an outbreak of small flies in the kitchen as well. Kept cleaning and cleaning but they were getting worse so thought we had to get an expensive pest man to spray everything tomorrow. Then Azzi found a bag of very rotten potatoes in the back of a cupboard where they were all coming from. Horrible horrible horrible!

Spoke to Richard and he says he wants us back on Creative Cafe not Facebook!

Hi Mandy

Here I am writing you a comment. I read your blog and you don't sound happy. Well I decided we are having a Cheer Up Creative Cafe Competition with prizes in our 2nd birthday week in November. Have to make a bit of an effort to be more cheerful because I have been being too much on a downer! Anything you do on Creative Cafe between now and our birthday is in line to win prizes.
Yes I know you can do it because you are a star Mandy!

Will be writing a blog to send round with more details but basically it is all in the Cheer Up title isn't it.

Hope you can join in.

And are OK

Take care
Jill

Hi Mandy !

Thus inspired : search "A Parable About a Parable" in Robert Anton Wilson's Quantum Psychology (http://tr.im/AaCO)

In a few words : it's the story of a student of Zen who stumbles upon "Before the Law" (which is a parable that's part of Kafka's "The Trial") and who asks his Roshi for help... Also available in video : The Door of the Law... Basically I turned all that into a suite...

I was asking about the festival were you had a stall booked... wondering if your cards had been a hit...

Hope October brings you much love & happiness !

Blessings,
Chris

Hi Mandy

Probably better if I write you off list about all that has been going on.
Thanks for being so understanding anyway. I will definitely get up to date with you soon. As soon as I can anyway.

Not sure if I am getting up or going to bed at the moment! It is 4.30 according to the clock but could be anytime really!

Hope you are OK.

Take care

Hi Mandy

Sorry havn't replied until now. Had a reply to my assessment saying I can't have a stair lift and went into a bad bad mood. Have taken trancs and got some sleep since but still don't feel right. Just makes me worry and it goes round and round in my head in an absessive way.

Anyway I won't go on but will be back with some better communication when I feel more in a brighter mood Ok.

Hope things are going well with you.

Hey Mandy !

Sorry for the delayed response... I have been kept busy by the Muse this last week... and thus I have a new 15-minute suite that's pretty much finished now... title will be "The Door of the Law"... inspired by Kafka...

How was the festival ?

Hope you are well !

Best wishes,
Chris

Hi Mandy

Just woke up after falling asleep on sofa about midnight! Party went well.
Children had fun with the balloons from the helium kit I got. Azzi got quite inebriated and also funny as he always is. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves anyway.

Hope you have had a good day and are now sleeping well. I know this isn't the right time of day or night but I really need a coffee next!

Hi Mandy

I am tired from cleaning cleaning cleaning! Think it is mainly clean now! So Azzi will have a clean party tomorrow at least! Was gettting quite irritable with so much on my to do list. But I guess it will be sorted by the time the visitors arrive.

Sorry again havn't been here much. Have not been on computer much at all.

I know what you mean about people expecting too much and thinking despite bipolar we have to be always upbeat. I try not to get too down as fear depression more than anything but I do get irritable and quite obsessive over stuff. My mind goes into these long broodings over the same thing over and over or wanting to know everything about a subject until I've read so much I'm sick of it. Plus the sleeping is never the same from one minute to the next. Like today when I needed to be energetic felt really tired and other times can't get tired at all. Makes no sense does it but people don't understand how changeable it is to have this condition do they.

Anyway won't go on as am cooking some stuff up tonight to save doing it all tomorrow. A woman's work is never done huh!

Hope all goes well with you today.

Bye for Now

Hi Mandy

Nearly 3.00am and I finally get to reply to you! Time flies by. Something happened tonight with someone that upset me. I got quite angry and upset by the way they reacted which made me think that there are not many people in this world you can trust. But at least the people like Azzi and my family are rock solid trustable so that is Ok. Just sometimes people are very weird in their priorities in life. Won't go on about it but it made me feel unsettled for a while.

Apart from that have got Tony to take out a load of rubbish I cleared up from upstairs. That is a bit of the cleaning up sorted. Should be able to get it nice by Azzis birthday do on Friday I hope.

Sorry you had bad dry discs and I hope they havn't been playing you up today. Am now going to go over your blog to see if there are anymore recent updates.

Hope to catch up again soon.

Hi Mandy

Hope you have been Ok today after not getting to sleep. Today seems to have flown by and I havn't got much done. Did do a bit of cleaning up but not enough if the place is to be clean for the party of Friday. Spent some time on ebay ordering silly pressies for Azzi and some gift wrap and stuff like that. Am going to do a shopping order for Thursday so there will be lots of grub and drink for the visitors.
Apart from that just don't know where the time has gone.

Anyway I read your blog again and see that anon the stalker seems to have cooled it a bit. Also see that you have a review re the swimming lessons that never happened! Perhaps services could apply their recovery model to themselves and provide some services thay say they are gonna provide for a change!

Anyway had better go and do my clicks next. That will keep my busy for a while now. Hope you get a good night.

Hi Mandy

I've been to your blog and written a comment for the ignorant anonymous! What a creepola.

Really good news about you selling so many cards. Your cards are lovely though so I'm not surprised you did. Just so glad thinks seem to be going better for you lately. Hope things keep on going well and you keep on enjoying yourself with stuff.

I am up late changing the side picture and messing around with the colours on the Main page. Still have to write a blog about it but may leave that until tomorrow now. It is well late already. The time flies by doesn't it.

Anyway will hope to catch up again tomorrow and I'll keep an eye on what anonymous does next!

Hi Mandy

The thing about homelessness in general is that I did some volunteer work with a soup run when I was young and visited Centrepoint in London as part of a sociology field trip and was around after Cathy Come Home was on TV and Shelter was set up and they were going to change the system and end homelessness and etc. Then 0 years later I read not only has millions and millions gone into trying to sort out homelessness but it is as bad if not worse a problem than ever! So it is like they have now got a whole homelessness industry which perpetuates homelessness rather than solving the problem! Then I read 62% of those sleeping rough have mental health problems and I wonder what happened to mental health services in all this? Do services actually do any good for anyone at all Mandy? Because from where I am looking they hardly ever do.

You are right about extended families going and other factors like modern life being too demanding but I don't see it is rocket science to at least get everyone a roof over their heads. There are plenty of disused hotels for a start and they already have a lot of facilities. These could at least get people off the streets to start off with. But I was reading about a new state of the art hostel that cost millions instead. In the meantime all those people looking forward to a cold winter on the streets and they only have a average life expectancy of 40 which is the same as the Middle Ages! That is progress for you!

Anyway better stop ranting! Am just having to realise how powerless I am to change anything but it is really annoying not to be able to when it seems so obvious to me what could be done.

Hope you are OK today anyway. I am going to make something to eat in a minute. Not sure what though. Hopefully there will be something yummy in the fridge when I get there.

Have a good day.

Hi Mandy

I am sorry I've been a bit out of touch for a bit. Have been quite moody really. Have this feeling of being angry and frustrated with the system as we know it. Like I worked out there are 100 or more people with mental health problems sleeping rough on the streets of every average size town in this country. A lot more in bigger places. Is that acceptable? To me it is terrible. Why hasn't the right at least to housing and a roof over your head been secured for people with mental health problems? You'd think that is the least of the rights we would have wouldn't you. But no. This system makes me so angry really.

I went to your blog and read the anonymous 'doctor' or whoever! Liked your reply. You kept your cool and socked it to em. I wonder who it was? What an idiot!

That petition has gone up from 500 to over 1000 signatures today so its not doing bad so far. Need a lot more to sign yet though. Sorry if you were getting paranoid about signing too much stuff though. But if we don't sign who will? There was a letter from Brighton Unemployed Centre on my local community list saying they are going to organise a protest and why hadn't all the charity professionals on the list made any fuss and Don't they care about the rights of unemployed disabled people? Well we know the charities don't care about our rights already. If the disability benefits do get axed it will affect 4 million people as well.

The place for your Dad sounds pretty good doesn't it. Maybe he would thrive in a place like that Mandy. At least you will know he is safe and won't have to worry so much. As far as I am concerned half the problem with your Dad is making sure you don't get ill from the stress of it all. You have seemed brighter these last weeks when he has'nt been able to disrupt things for you all the time. But you are taking on a lot for your friend I see on your blog now. Please don't take on too much and get ill yourself again. You are so kind and helpful to people but you need to think of your own health as being the most important Mandy.

Not much happening down here except the usual. I have invited everyone over Friday week when it is Azzis birthday for a bit of a party. Will need to do some cleaning up before then as it has got quite a mess around the place. We are still planning on going out to the garden centre and stuff but I don't know when yet!

Anyway better get on with some stuff that needs to be done.

Hope you have a good night.

Bye for Now

Hey Mandy ! The week-end has been pretty good, if not 100% wonderful... thanks ! Hope yours has been good too !

Glad to know that the card-making process has been productive... fun is where it's at... yet it would seem that sometimes it is the hardest thing to remember...

Wilde I know only by his quotes... never really read him nor saw the movies...

Wishing you great success at the festival ! :o)

Best wishes,
Chris
