I was interested in that post you sent round from your Published Authors on how to make a widget but could quite work out what to do?! I will have to go back to it and find out more.
Anyway If you would like to add yourself to the map I have put up it is HERE
Nice to hear from you. I guess having your work available at places like Amazon will be good for your sales as a lot of people go on there. I heard that a lot of writers got really improved sales by getting into that Richard and Judys book club. But I have no idea how they select books for that. Anyway I hope you do well.
Havn't heard from you for a while so wondered how you are getting on? How are the sales for your writing going? I suppose it must be a very competitive business. Anyway I hope things are going well and it would be nice to hear from you when you get time.
Hi Shelagh,
Hope you're well. I'm sorry I haven't spent a lot of time on Published Authors. I've been so busy with the PA, I've had to put my work on the back seat temporarily. I've put up a fresh blog/slideshow of my hardback book, I Am An Art Gallery. I wonder if you saw it? Have a great weekend! Leslie
Oh I see. Lulu is the publisher! Er well I suppose you could just put up a link and then tell customers not to buy from you but go direct to the publisher. We are not having any site charges on the first 50 items sold so it doesn't make any difference regarding site commission at the moment. You might get a problem if a buyer didn't read your notice and link and clicked on the buy now anyway. But if you don't have paypal the buyers have to go through the sellers to arrange sales anyway so you could just pass them on to LuLu I guess.
Sorry for the confusion!
Bye for Now

Does Lulu have a paypal address and email address you can put on the listing? If so you can list through her I think. Whoever has their address on the site will get the notification of any sales. There is an option for classified ads as well but
noone has tried these yet.
Hope this helps.

Congratulations on having your book up online. It looks a read read.
You can get to the Salesrooms via the SALESROOMS link under the logo above and here on the right side of your page is a link. You need to register for the site seperately and you get sent a confirmation email which you have to reply to. Then you are ready to list your items. You get a WYSIWYG style easy text editor on which to list your things for sale. Plus you answer other questions that the site asks about your listing. If you have a paypal account and want to accept paypal payments then put in your paypal address where you are asked. You can put a fixed buy it now price rather than an auction and you can put in a long sales period plus up to 6 automatic relistings to save you having to keep relisting your item. That is about all I can thin of to tell you about the Salesrooms at the moment. If you need any more help then just ask.
Thanks for the Valentine. Did I tell you I am reading Lionels book which I got from our Salesrooms. It is a really good story. He must have had to learn loads of history to write it.
I'd like to see more books in our Salesrooms. Hard to find the time to do much reading though these days. Have you finished your sequel Mrs Planemakers Flying Circus yet?
Let your imagination run free

This week with my own hands I have set up a new group
on Creative Cafe for anything to do with disability which
you may like to join? And isn’t it handy that we have a lot
of interesting discussions going on at the moment. Please
don’t be shy and at least give us a helping hand with the
one where members introduce themselves. And hands
up if you have thought of buying any of the lovely
things in our Salesrooms lately? That would be a truly
handsome thing to do. Finally I have to rush off now
because I have my hands full sending round this comment!
